THE LITTLE STUDIO GALLERY

STUDIO RENTAL

The Little Studio at October Two is a multi-purpose studio that can convert to meet your film studio rental or event space needs. It is located in the Anderson Artists building, nestled between Village Gate and The Memorial Art Gallery, within the beautiful Neighborhood Of The Arts in Rochester, NY. The Anderson Artists building is over 100 years old and houses 4 floors of fine art artists, potters, painters, photographers, writers and film makers. We are surrounded by shops, restaurants and small businesses. The location provides creative inspiration.
 
The Little Studio is a 600 square foot multi-purpose space with large southern exposed windows, hardwood floors and 12’ ceilings. All of the furniture and most of the cabinetry is moveable which makes it a great place for shooting for film and photography. It is equipped with a full kitchen, with soapstone, butcher block and white countertops.

FIRST FRIDAY
SECOND SATURDAY

The Little Studio at October Two will host First Friday and Second Saturday for artists who want to share their art with the community but do not have a studio or space to participate.

 

  • WHAT: First Friday and Second Saturday is a monthly citywide gallery night and day that encourages collaboration between art venues in Rochester, NY. Some of the arts you may see include drawing, painting, pastels, ceramics, fiber arts, textiles, printmaking, photography, mixed media, sculpture, weaving, and book and lettering arts. Some artists will be working during the events, so you may ask questions about their medium of choice to better understand their creative process.

  • WHY: This initiative showcases and promotes area artists and smaller arts institutions. It's a unique opportunity, to visit artists in their own workspace and to purchase original, one-of-a-kind artwork.

  • WHERE: Rochester, NY. Citywide. The Little Studio is located at 250 Goodman Street Rochester, NY 14607.

  • WHEN: First Friday of every month, 6:00pm - 9:00pm; Second Saturday of every month, 12:00pm - 4:00pm

  • PATRON COST: Free and open to the public. Children are welcome!

  • HOSTING FEE AT THE LITTLE STUDIO: Included in the hosting fee will be coffee and cookies free to the the patrons who frequent the studio during First Friday and Second Saturday. Please contact us for more info!
